POP3 Server Restart @ 13:50 16/11/09
November 16th, 2009For performance reasons we restarted pop3 Mail Service, we had the server running in debug mode for the last couple of days. This is processor intensive and so we wanted to run the service in production mode again as soon as possible. Your downtime, if any at all, should not have been more than a minute.
Thank you, the vonhost team.

In with the new FTP server
April 1st, 2009We have recently updated our FTP server software, after months of testing we have finaly stopped using Microsoft FTP as our primary file server in favour of the one available from MediaModus.com.
The main benefit is support for secure file transfer protocol, so now in the same way that your confidential information is protected on a secure website your confidential source file data can be too.
It’s worth noting that older accounts that begin with “Admin_” will no longer function on port 21, port 22 should be used instead.
